Bonding Technology of Silicon rubber protective materials

چکیده

Abstract Silicone rubber (SR) materials play a crucial role in the field of mechanical impact protection technology. However, adhesive stability between SR and various substrates actual application process is still challenging task. The surface free energy about 19.9 mJ/m 2 , which can directly lead to fall off peel during process. In present study, new type bifunctional polyborosiloxane interfacial binder (BSiO Vi ) has been developed through copolymerization method, resulting firm bond epoxy resin (EP) metal substrate. One end organic group BSiO fixed substrate other act as initiator matrixpolymerization. bonding strength macroscopically manifests cohesive failure silicone protective material.

Hyperelastic Material Models of Rubber and Rubber-like Materials

ABSTRACT The variety of applications of rubber-like materials in different industrial areas is enormous. In the automotive industry rubber is utilized in tires, as engine and door seals, whereas in aerospace industry rubber rings are used in fuel systems. In other engineering fields, rubbers have been used in conveyor belts, meteorological balloons and vibration isolation bearings or shock and ...

Hydrophobic silicon wafer bonding

Wafers prepared by an HF dip without a subsequent water rinse were bonded at room temperature and annealed at temperatures up to 1100 “C. Based on substantial differences between bonded hydrophilic and hydrophobic Si wafer pairs in the changes of the interface energy with respect to temperature, secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), we suggest that h...

Studies of Silicon-Phosphorus Bonding

Ab initio calculations are presented for several species containing a silicon-phosphorus bond. The types of bonding studied include "normal" single, double, and triple bonds, as well as an ylide-like structure. The latter is found to be much less strongly bound than the carbon analogue, with a smaller stretching force constant than that in silylphosphine. The insertions of silylene into the pho...

Constitutive modelling of hyperelastic rubber-like materials

The simulation of rubber-like material behaviour by means of the finite element method has been described in this study. Proper material models were selected for the numerical description of static hyper-elasticity. The combinations of a continuum damage mechanics concept and a pseudo-elastic concept with Gao’s elastic law were used to simulate the ideal Mullins effect. Furthermore, a specific ...
